The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait announces that the Overseas Voter Registration for the 2022 National Elections is now online, only for those who have existing voting and biometric records with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC).
The online services that the COMELEC is offering are the following:
- Registration (Certification) as overseas voter, for those who have existing voting and biometric records with the COMELEC in the Philippines
- Reactivation of Overseas Voter Registration Records (OVRRs)
- Transfer of voting records from other countries to Kuwait (for those who will vote in Kuwait on 9 May 2022, election day), or from Kuwait to the Philippines (for those who will vote in the Philippines on 9 May 2022)
Those who wish to apply for the above-mentioned services are requested to send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., or send a message via Facebook Messenger at Office for Overseas Voting PH. Applicants will need to submit online a copy of their valid Philippine passport, and their accomplished Application Form. They will then have to undergo an online interview by a COMELEC officer via Zoom.
The last day to avail of the COMELEC’s online services is on 14 October 2021.
“First-time voters,” or those who have never registered and voted in a Philippine election in the Philippines and overseas, are not allowed to apply for the above-mentioned online services. The Embassy will soon release a separate public advisory on the resumption of Overseas Voter Registration for first-timers, at the Embassy’s new office in Salwa Area.

Ang mga nagnanais na mag-apply sa mga serbisyong nabanggit sa itaas ay pinapakiusapang magpadala ng email sa This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., o magpadala ng mensahe sa pamamagitan ng Facebook Messenger sa Office for Overseas Voting PH. Ang mga aplikante ay kailangang magpadala online ng kopya ng kanilang Philippine passport may bisa pa, at nasagutang Application Form. Pagkatapos ay sasailalim sila sa online na panayam ng isang opisyal ng COMELEC sa pamamagitan ng Zoom.
