The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait informs the Filipino community that its passport application and renewal service will resume on Monday, 1 June 2020. Due to the persistent threat of the COVID-19 in Kuwait, only a limited number of applicants will be accommodated for passport services through an online appointment system.
Passport applicants must first book an online appointment on this website: https://appointment.philembassykw.com/. Those with confirmed appointments will be accommodated at the Embassy from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM every day, except weekends. Setting up an online appointment is FREE OF CHARGE.
The Embassy will not accept walk-in applications for the meantime.
Due to the small number of Embassy personnel who are living in areas under partial curfew, the Embassy will only be able to accept, process, and receive payments for applications. All applicants will receive a call or message from the Embassy on when they will return to the Embassy to complete the final step in the application process: the enrollment/encoding of their applications.
Apart from renewing their passports, those whose residence visas in Kuwait are about to expire may apply for passport validity extension.
As a precaution against COVID-19, those who do not bring with them their printed application form and other requirements, those who will arrive at least 30 minutes before their time of appointment, or those who will not wear face masks will not be allowed to stay within the Embassy’s premises.
All applicants are also advised to bring an EXACT amount for their application fee (KD19.500 for passport application/renewal only, and KD26.000 for passport renewal with passport validity extension).
The Embassy appeals to all Filipinos in Kuwait to apply for passport renewal only if there is an urgent need to do so. As a form of bayanihan in this time of crisis, please give way to those who need to apply or renew their passport in order to renew their residence visas in Kuwait.
The Embassy also requests for the Filipino community’s understanding that only a limited number of applications will be accommodated every day. Please understand that while passport application and renewal has resumed at the Embassy, the threat of COVID-19 infection in Kuwait has not gone away. Controlling the number of applicants at the Embassy will ensure that physical distancing measures will be enforced effectively.

Ipinapaalam sa Filipino community ng Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Kuwait na magbabalik ang serbisyo nito ng passport application at renewal ngayong Lunes, 1 Hunyo 2020. Dahil sa patuloy na banta ng COVID-19 sa Kuwait, limitado lamang ang bilang ng mga aplikanteng tatanggapin sa pamamagitan ng sistemang online appointment.
Ang mga aplikante ay dapat munang kumuha ng online appointment sa website na ito: https://appointment.philembassykw.com/. Ang mga may kumpirmadong appointment ay tatanggapin sa Embahada mula alas-9 hanggang alas-11 ng umaga araw-araw, maliban tuwing weekend. Ang pagkuha ng online appointment ay LIBRE.
Wala munang tatanggapin na mga walk-in application ang Embahada.
Dahil sa maliit na bilang ng mga tauhan ng Embahada na naninirahan sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng partial curfew, ang Embahada ay magagawa lamang na tanggapin, iproseso, at kunin ang bayad para sa mga aplikasyon ng pasaporte. Ang lahat ng mga aplikante ay makatatanggap ng tawag o mensahe kung kailan sila babalik ng Embahada para tapusin ang huling hakbang ng kanilang aplikasyon: ang enrollment/encoding ng kanilang aplikasyon.
Maliban sa pag-renew ng kanilang mga pasaporte, ang mga may pa-expire na residence visa sa Kuwait ay maaaring mag-apply para sa passport validity extension.
Bilang pag-iingat sa COVID-19, ang mga hindi magdadala ng kanilang printed application form at ibang mga requirement, ang mga dadating sa Embahada ng hindi bababa sa 30 minuto bago ang oras ng kanilang appointment, at ang mga hindi magsusuot ng face mask ay hindi pahihintulutan na manatili sa paligid ng Embahada.
Ang mga aplikante ay inaabisuhan ding magdala ng SAKTONG pambayad sa kanilang application fee (KD19.500 para sa passport application/renewal lamang, at KD26.000 para sa passport renewal na may kasamang passport validity extension).
Umaapela ang Embahada sa lahat ng Pilipino na mag-apply lamang para sa passport renewal kung may matinding pangangailangan para rito. Bilang bayanihan ngayong panahon ng krisis, pakibigyang-daan muna ang mga nangangailangang mag-renew ng kanilang mga residence visa sa Kuwait.
Humihiling din ang Embahada ng pag-unawa mula sa Filipino community dahil limitadong bilang lang ng mga passport application ang tatanggapin araw-araw. Nawa’y maintindihan ng lahat na kahit binalik na ang passport application at renewal, hindi pa rin nawawala ang peligro na mahawaan ng COVID-19 sa Kuwait. Sa pagkontrol ng bilang ng mga aplikante sa Embahada, masisigurong maipatutupad nang epektibo ang mga patakaran para sa physical distancing.

تُبلغ سفارة الفلبين في دولة الكويت الجالية الفلبينية بأن طلب الحصول على جواز السفر وخدمة التجديد سيستأنف يوم الاثنين الموافق 1 يونيو 2020. وبسبب التهديد المستمر لـ COVID-19 في الكويت ، سيتم استيعاب عدد محدود فقط من المتقدمين للحصول على خدمات جواز السفر من خلال نظام المواعيد عبر الإنترنت.
