[UPDATE AS OF 22 MARCH 2021] Read the Embassy's public advisory on the resumption of its non-passport consular services on 23 March 2021: https://kuwaitpe.dfa.gov.ph/newsroom/announcements/410-public-advisory-resumption-of-the-embassy-s-non-passport-consular-services

The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait regrets to inform the public that it has recorded two more cases of the COVID-19, who were working at the Embassy’s temporary office in Sabah Al-Salem Area.

The latest COVID-19 case, which was only confirmed early morning on 18 March 2021, prompted the Embassy to abruptly suspend its non-passport consular services (authentication and notarial, Report of Birth, Report of Marriage) on 18 March 2021. The Embassy apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused some of its clients.

The said suspension of the Embassy’s non-passport consular services will continue in the coming days. Those who have non-passport appointments on 18, 19, 20 and 21 March 2021 are advised to wait for the Embassy’s public advisory for their new appointment schedule.

This Friday, 19 March 2021, the Embassy will also not open non-passport appointment slots on its Setmore website. If the situation improves, new non-passport appointments may be opened next Friday, 26 March 2021.

This latest development does not affect the Assistance to Nationals (ATN) services of the Embassy at its temporary office in Sabah Al-Salem Area, and its passport renewal and releasing services at the Kuwait Disabled Sport Club in Hawally Area. All passport appointments will push through as scheduled.
