Following official receipt of the declaration of a two-week official holiday by the Kuwaiti government to combat the Coronavirus Disease 2019, the Philippine Embassy informs the Filipino community in Kuwait that on 15-19 and 23-26 March 2020, Embassy office hours is from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. only. The Embassy will be closed to the public on 22 March 2020, which was originally declared as a holiday in Kuwait in observance of The Prophet’s Ascension.

The Embassy also informs the Filipino community that on the dates mentioned above, the following frontline services will not be offered:

  1. Passport renewal application
  2. Philippine visa application
  3. Notarization and authentication of documents
  4. Civil registration (Report of Birth, Marriage, and Death)
  5. Applications for solemnization of marriage
  6. Embassy Assisted Repatriation Program

During these dates, the Embassy will continue to open its doors for passport releasing and other Assistance-to-Nationals (ATN) services.

The Embassy continues to appeal to the Filipino community in Kuwait to stay healthy, remain calm and vigilant, and get updates only through official and credible news outlets.

Kasunod ng opisyal na pagtanggap ng deklarasyon ng dalawang-linggong opisyal na holiday ng pamahalaan ng Kuwait upang labanan ang Coronavirus Disease 2019, ipinapaalam ng Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Filipino community sa Kuwait na ngayong 15-19 at 23-26 Marso 2020, ang oras ng opisina ng Embahada ay mula alas-9 ng umaga hanggang alas-2 ng hapon lamang. Ang Embahada ay sarado sa publiko ngayong 22 Marso 2020, na una nang idineklara bilang holiday sa Kuwait bilang paggunita sa The Prophet’s Ascension.

Ipinapaalam din ng Embahada sa Filipino community na sa mga nabanggit na petsa, ang mga sumusunod na serbisyo ay hindi muna iaalok:

  1. Passport renewal application
  2. Philippine visa application

Sa mga nabanggit na petsa, patuloy na bukas ang pintuan ng Embahada para sa passport releasing at iba pang mga serbisyong Assistance-to-Nationals (ATN).

Patuloy na umaapela ang Embahada sa Filipino community sa Kuwait na maging malusog, manatiling mahinahon at mapagmatyag, at kumuha ng mga balita mula lamang sa mga opisyal at mapagkakatiwalaang news outlets.
