30 June 2013. CDA Raul H. Dado reports that ATN Officers Mar Hassan and Madayao Lucman rescued two Filipinos on 28 and 29 June after distress calls were received by the Embassy Legal Desk.

One of the women, Joy (not real name), had been arrested during the checking. She was not brought to the police station but was forced to work in the residence of the brother of the police officer, instead. Another police officer brought her to an Ethiopian recruitment agency in Fahaheel where she was found by the ATN Officers and brought to the Embassy.

The second woman, Karen (not real name), was rescued after a call received by Ms. Thea Nabo, administrative staff of the embassy, was relayed to ATN officers Hassan and Lucman who immediately searched for her in Fahaheel and was brought to the embassy. The two are now in the custody of POLO-FWRC.
