The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait informs the Filipino community that the Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) is currently accepting nominations for the 2021 Migration Advocacy and Media (MAM) Awards.
Established in 2011, the MAM Awards aim to recognize the role of the media in the promotion and advocacy of various issues on Filipino migration and development. Eligible for the MAM Awards are works by government and private media outlets, institutions and practitioners in the fields of print, radio, movie and television, advertising and interactive media.
The awards that will be conferred include Print Journalism Award (magazine, newsletter/newspaper, book), Radio Journalism Award (radio program), Television Journalism Award (TV program, TV series, TV special, interstitial), Film Media Award (movie, documentary, short film), Interactive Media Award (website, blog, vlog), Advertisement Award, and Media Advocate Award (media personalities and migration advocates).
Nominations for the MAM Awards may be submitted directly to the CFO Main Office in Manila on or before 1 July 2021. For more information, please visit the official website of the CFO at https://www.cfo.gov.ph/.

Ipinapaalam sa pamayanang Pilipino ng Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Kuwait na kasalukuyang tumatanggap ang Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) ng mga nominasyon para sa 2021 Migration Advocacy and Media (MAM) Awards.
Itinatag noong 2011, layon ng MAM Awards na kilalanin ang papel ng midya sa pagpapalaganap at pagtataguyod ng iba’t-ibang isyu hinggil sa migrasyong Pilipino. Pasok sa MAM Awards ang mga gawa ng pampublikong at pampribadong outlet ng midya, samahan at indibidwal sa larangan ng print, radyo, pelikula at telebisyon, advertising, at interactive media.
Kasama sa mga parangal na igagawad ang Print Journalism Award (magasin, pahayagan, aklat), Radio Journalism Award (programa sa radyo), Television Journalism Award (programa sa TV, serye sa TV, TV special, interstitial), Film Media Award (pelikula, dokumentaryo, maikling pelikula), Interactive Media Award (website, blog, vlog), Advertisement Award, at Media Advocate Award (personalidad sa midya at migration advocate).
