The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait regrets to inform the public that one of its employees at its Mobile Passport Service tested positive for the COVID-19. In accordance with health protocols, the Embassy announces the suspension of its Mobile Passport Service (passport renewal and releasing) at Al-Sahel Sports Club in Abu Halifa Area on 3-5 May 2021.
The services of the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Pag-IBIG Fund, and Social Security System (SSS) are also suspended on 3-5 May 2021.
The Embassy advises all affected applicants with confirmed online appointments to follow the Embassy’s official website and social media accounts for future advisories.
The Embassy’s non-passport services (Notarial and Authentication, Report of Birth, Report of Marriage, Assistance to Nationals or ATN) at its temporary office in Sabah Al-Salem Area are not affected by the said suspension.

Ikinalulungkot na ibalita sa publiko ng Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Kuwait na isa sa mga empleyado ng Mobile Passport Service ang nagpositibo sa COVID-19. Bilang pagsunod sa mga alituntuning pangkalusugan, inaanunsyo ng Embahada ang suspensyon ng Mobile Passport Service sa Al-Sahel Sports Club sa Abu Halifa Area ngayong 3-5 Mayo 2021.
Ang mga serbisyo ng Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Pag-IBIG Fund, at Social Security System (SSS) ay suspendido rin ngayong 3-5 Mayo 2021.
Pinapayuhan ng Embahada ang lahat ng mga apektadong aplikante na may kumpirmadong online appointment na sundin ang mga opisyal na website at social media account ng Embahada para sa mga susunod na abiso.
Ang mga serbisyong non-passport ng Embahada (Notarial at Authentication, Report of Birth, Report of Marriage, Assistance to Nationals o ATN) sa pansamantalang opisina nito sa Sabah Al-Salem Area ay hindi apektado ng nasabing suspensyon.
