The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait informs the public of its closure from 30 September to 2 October 2020, in solidarity with the people of Kuwait following the passing of His Highness The Amir, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
The on-site operations of the Embassy, the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Social Security System (SSS), and Pag-IBIG Fund are suspended on 30 September-2 October 2020.
The Embassy will continue to serve the Filipino community in Kuwait through the following hotlines and social media accounts:

Filipinos in extremely distressed situations may contact the Kuwaiti government’s emergency hotlines:
- Kuwait Police and Ambulance: 112 (for non-COVID-19 related cases)
- Kuwait Ministry of Health: 151 (for COVID-19 related cases)
Those with scheduled appointments with the Embassy on 30 September-2 October 2020 will be advised of their new schedule through a list that will be released on the Embassy’s official Facebook page.
