The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait informs the Filipino community that all returning Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), both land-based and sea-based, are required to undergo a mandatory 14-day facility quarantine upon their arrival in the Philippines. This is in accordance with Resolution No. 23 of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) dated 13 April 2020.
The said IATF Resolution means that the Philippine government will not allow OFWs to rejoin their families in the Philippines unless they complete the 14-day quarantine at a facility that will be designated by the Department of Health and the Bureau of Quarantine.
While outbound flights from Kuwait are once again operational after the month-long closure of Kuwait International Airport, the Embassy advises Filipinos in Kuwait to reconsider their travels in light of the Enhanced Community Quarantine in Luzon and in multiple areas in the Philippines.

Ito ay bilang pagtalima sa Resolution No. 23 ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) noong 13 Abril 2020.
