The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait informs the Filipino community that according to an article by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anas Al-Saleh announced the extension of the curfew hours by two more hours. Beginning today, 6 April 2020, curfew time in Kuwait is from 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. every day.
KUNA also reported that the public holidays in Kuwait will be extended by two more weeks. Government offices in Kuwait are now expected to reopen on 26 April 2020.
Finally, Interior Minister Al-Saleh announced the imposition of a complete lockdown of Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Mahboula for the next two weeks, to allow the government to conduct health tests to all the residents of the two areas.
The Embassy reminds the Filipino community in Kuwait to stay at home and follow the instructions of Kuwaiti authorities. Everyone is also encouraged to follow the Embassy’s official Facebook and Twitter accounts for future public advisories, including an advisory on Embassy operations (such as passport renewal and claiming/releasing) for the second half of April 2020.

Ipinapaalam ng Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Kuwait sa Filipino community na ayon sa artikulo ng Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), inanunsyo ni Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister at Interior Minister Anas Al-Saleh ang pagpapalawig sa oras ng curfew nang dalawa pang oras. Simula ngayong araw, 6 Abril 2020, ang oras ng curfew sa Kuwait ay mula alas-5 ng hapon hanggang alas-6 ng umaga araw-araw.
Inulat din ng KUNA na pinalawig ang mga public holiday sa Kuwait nang dalawa pang linggo. Ang mga opisina ng pamahalaan ng Kuwait ay inaasahang magbubukas sa darating na 26 Abril 2020.
Bilang pagtatapos, inanunsyo ni Interior Minister Al-Saleh ang pagpapatupad ng buong lockdown ng Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh at Mahboula sa susunod na dalawang linggo, upang makapagsagawa ang pamahalaan ng mga health test sa mga residente ng dalawang lugar.
