The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait informs the Filipino community that the amnesty program of the government of Kuwait for residency visa violators will begin on Wednesday, 1 April 2020.
Undocumented Filipinos and those with absconding cases are encouraged to go to the following processing centers of the Ministry of Interior (MOI) from 1 to 5 April 2020, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM:
- MALES: Al Muthanna Primary School for Boys (Farwaniya, Block 1, Street 122)
- FEMALES: Farwaniya Primary School For Girls (Farwaniya, Block 1, Street 76)
Amnesty applicants must bring their valid passports, and their two luggage (one 20-kilo bag for check-in, and one 7-kilo bag for hand-carry). Those who do not have their passports with them are requested to bring instead three passport-size ID photos with blue background.
The Embassy will deploy its personnel to the processing centers mentioned above for the issuance of Travel Documents. There is no need to go to the Embassy to apply for a Travel Document.
Once their applications are approved, amnesty grantees will not be allowed to leave the processing center, and will be sent straight to a MOI-designated shelter where they will wait for their flight back to the Philippines.
The Embassy encourages the Filipino community in Kuwait to take advantage of Kuwait’s amnesty program, and to follow the Embassy’s official website and social media accounts for new advisories about the program.

Ipinapaalam ng Embahada ng Pilipinas sa Kuwait sa Filipino community na ang programang amnestiya ng pamahalaan ng Kuwait para sa mga lumabag sa kanilang residency visa ay magsisimula sa Miyerkules, 1 Abril 2020.
Ang mga Pilipinong walang papeles at ang mga may kasong absconding ay hinihikayat na pumunta sa mga sumusunod na processing center ng Ministry of Interior (MOI) mula 1 hanggang 5 Abril 2020, mula 8:00 AM hanggang 2:00 PM:
- MGA LALAKI: Al Muthanna Primary School for Boys (Farwaniya, Block 1, Street 122)
- MGA BABAE: Farwaniya Primary School For Girls (Farwaniya, Block 1, Street 76)
Ang mga aplikante para sa amnestiya ay kailangang magdala ng pasaporteng may bisa pa, at dalawang bagahe (isang 20-kilo bag para sa check-in, at isang 7-kilo bag para sa hand-carry). Ang mga walang pasaporte ay pinapakiusapang magdala ng tatlong passport-size na ID photo na may background na kulay asul.
Ang Embahada ay magtatalaga ng mga tauhan sa mga processing center na nabanggit para sa pag-iisyu ng mga Travel Document. Hindi kailangang magpunta sa Embahada para kumuha ng Travel Document.
Kapag naaprubahan na ang kanilang aplikasyon, ang mga nabigyan ng amnestiya ay hindi na papayagan pang umalis ng processing center, at dadalhin sa itinalagang shelter ng MOI kung saan nila hihintayin ang kanilang lipad pauwi ng Pilipinas.
Hinihikayat ng Embahada ang Filipino community sa Kuwait na samantalahin ang programang amnestiya ng Kuwait, at i-follow ang mga opisyal na website at social media account ng Embahada para sa mga bagong abiso tungkol sa programa.
