The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait informs the public that it has temporarily stopped, until further notice, the issuance of Philippine visas to all foreign nationals, as a precautionary measure against the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
This follows the declaration of an Enhanced Community Quarantine in Luzon Island, including Metro Manila, and the directive of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) to Philippine Embassies and Consulates worldwide to suspend their Philippine visa services.
In addition, the Embassy informs Kuwaiti and GCC nationals, who have visa-free access to the Philippines, that visa-free privileges have also been suspended by the DFA, until further notice.
Foreign spouses and children of Filipino nationals are exempted from this temporary suspension.
Finally, all previously issued Philippine visas are deemed cancelled except those issued to the following:
- Foreign Government and International Organization officials accredited to the Philippines
- Foreign spouses and children of Filipino nationals
The Embassy reminds the public to stay safe and healthy during this time.

تحيط السفارة الفلبينية لدى دولة الكويت بالعلم عن توقيف مؤقت بإصدار تأشيرة الى الفلبين للاجانب الكرام كإجراء وقائي ضد فيروس كورونا أو ما يسمى بكوفيد19(COVID-19).
ويأتي هذا بعد إعلان الوزارة الخارجية الفلبينية عن تعزيز الحجر الصحي للمجتمع في جزيرة لوزون بما فيها مترو مانيلا، وتوجيه وزارة الخارجية الفلبينية للسفارات والقنصليات العامة في جميع انحاء العالم عن توقيف مؤقت لإصدار تأشيرة الى الفلبين.
كما تفيد السفارة للمواطن الكويتي والمواطن في جميع دول الخليج عن توقيف تأشيرة امتيازات عند وصول مطار الفلبين،علماً بأن أزواج الاجانب وأولادهم هم المعفون عن هذا التوقيف المؤقت، وقد تم إصدار هذا التوقيف من قبل الوزارة الخارجية الفلبينية إلى إشعارٍ أخر.
أخيراً، كل تأشيرات الصادرة سابقاً تعتبر ملغياً بإستثناء تلك الصادرة لما يأتي:
- مسؤلي الحكومة الاجنبية والمنظمات الدولية المعتمدة لدى الفلبين
- ازواج الاجانب واولادهم من الجنسية الفلبينية.
تذكر السفارة الفلبينية العامة بالبقاء في صحة وسلامة خلال هذه الفترة.
